Honoring Our Ancestral Gifts
This is a sacred space designed for the gathering of BIPOC community members that identify as healthcare workers, educators, healers, mind/body/spirit workers, caregivers, activists & all who provide care in the community. This is an in person gathering in Oakland CA.
We will meet weekly for 6 weeks to engage spirit in movement prayer to heal ourselves and our communities.

You are invited to attend the Samuel Merritt University Community Learning Forum at Allen Temple Baptist Church Oakland CA.
The Community Learning Forum (CLF) is an annual series of health education seminars that were developed by Richard Rocco & Christina Lewis Phd in 2011. The series is offered monthly to residents of the Oakland community and is intended to enhance public awareness of primary health matters.
It was an amazing twelve hour workspace. Where folks from multiple disciplines came together to work on tackling a cause- increasing awareness around Depression in Immigrant and Refugee communities. There were so many great ideas and lots of passion in the room.
Before the participants got to work, they volunteered to engage in a demonstration of the RICHER model. The participants volunteered to share some work that reflect how they felt. This is the pre and post reflection of how they felt in their mind, body and spirit.
