The Uzo Method Project
Re-indigenizing Wellness Through Evidence-Based Healing Arts
The Uzo Method Project is dedicated to restoring balance through Indigenous healing arts and holistic wellness practices. By remembering, restoring, and remixing ancient modalities, we create a path to the re-indigenization of the body, mind, and spirit.
About The Uzo Method Project
The Uzo Method Project uses evidence-based healing arts practices to provide opportunities for the re-indigenization of the body, mind, and spirit. Through remembering, restoring, and remixing ancient healing modalities, spaces are created where holistic wellness becomes an intentional, collective journey.

Mission
The mission is to increase awareness and accessibility to holistic healing practices that honor the physical, social, mental, and spiritual aspects of wellness globally.
Vision
The Uzo Method envisions a world where people heal from the wounds of displacement, generational trauma, and cultural erasure by reconnecting to their roots, reclaiming their stories, and rebuilding their sense of belonging. It’s about breaking the silence of suffering, reigniting the spirit of resilience, and transforming wellness into a living, breathing act of remembrance and restoration—where communities are not just surviving but thriving, held together by the power of ancestral wisdom and collective healing.
Approach
The Uzo Method Project draws from Indigenous African and diasporic traditions, trauma-informed care, and holistic wellness practices. The goal is to create sustainable well-being through art, ritual, and community connection, fostering an environment where cultural heritage and wellness converge.
